How Josh and Jason Met

Before Josh Block met Mr. Based (Jason Itzler), Mr. Based/Jason was working to establish himself as a streamer and content creator specializing in the sun-gazing space. Sun Gazers are people who believe there are benefits to staring directly at the sun. Mr. Based claims he had been informed of Josh by a friend and instructed on how to come in with contact with Josh. Jason proceeded to stream-snipe Josh, causing a crash out. Over time, they would develop a working relationship that would lead to Jason acting as a soft manager for Josh. In the last year, Jason has captured many of Josh's more prominent or legendary crashouts.

In this role, Mr. Based was acquiring hotel rooms for Josh, while hosting Josh for a youtube show (and eventually Parti - which is a smaller streaming platform). Jason/Mr. Based's live streaming content consists of people sending in Text to Speech donations that are read out to Josh and Jason. These donations often insult Josh/Mr. Based, make racist remarks about Jewish, Black, Indian, Asian people, make remarks about women, or work to incur a reaction of Josh. Sometimes people send food or the police to Jason's residence in the East Village in New York City. Sometimes people will go to Jason's residence and yell "Put the Fries in the Bag" through Jason's open windows.

Jason and Josh have also done streams from Bars, Recording Studios, Restaurants, Businesses, and public areas within New York City. When Josh is not travelling, he can be found with Mr. Based getting insulted for $15 donations that go directly to Mr. Based.

Parti is a streaming platform owned by Brian Gallagher that Jason has found after being banned from YouTube on three separate accounts. Parti operates similar to Youtube or Kick enable live streams with TTS Donation integrations. Parti is not seen favorably and is know for having performance issues that impact the quality of life for consumer devices.
