"Put the Fries in the Bag"

"Put the Fries in the Bag" is a major trigger for Josh, saying the phrase near him will cause an emotional meltdown, usually involving biting his hand, screaming, attacking innocent bystanders, and shouting his catchphrases. The verbal form is "fry bagging".

Origin

Josh abruptly began using the phrase in August 2024 in response to a Mr. Based TTS donation mocking him. It's unknown where Josh heard the phrase, but it had gained popularity as a viral catchphrase online around this time.[2] Mr. Based instigated further, and Josh escalated into insulting the phrase and repeating it, explicitly mocking minimum wage workers for how little they made in comparison to his "$60k a year" (at the time.)[3]

Mr. Based encouraged Josh to use this catchphrase against actual minimum wage workers, with varying levels of success.[4][5][6]

Josh's Reaction

Despite Josh attempting to use this phrase to insult "poor" people, trolls quickly turned it against him, and ironically, Josh would get extremely offended when someone used it against him. Josh considers himself getting fry-bagged to be the equivalent of someone saying the n-word to him.[8] This is possibly related to Josh formerly working at Burger King.

On September 9, 2024, Josh chased after a woman after she exclaims “Josh, put the fries in the fucking bag!” To which Josh responds by chasing after her and shouts “I’m gonna kick your butt! Never say that to me again bitch!”[7]
